Description
The owner of this Badge attended the course Arabic-A2 provided by the City of Milan. At the end of the course, the student takes an exam proving he/she improved his/her competencies to the A2 level, one of the levels described in Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR). The Badge is especially relevant in the current European context: according to the european parliament guidelines, knowing a foreign language and being able to communicate through it is the second key competency needed for full employment in EU countries.
Badge Criteria
The owner of this Badge: was admitted to the course Arabic A2 following an assessment; attended the course Arabic A2 at its premises in the year 2014-2015; passed the final exam. During the course and through the final exam the student has shown that he/she: can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e. g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment); can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters; can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need. This Badge therefore certifies that the student has reached the A2 Level in the Arabic language according to the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR).
