Description
The holder of this Badge has acquired competencies relating to the production of academic texts: essays, theses and presentations. The above-mentioned competencies have been acquired by participating in the Bbetween Languages 2017 - Academic Skills: Spanish pathway. The pathway is intended for anyone who possesses linguistic competencies in Spanish equivalent to levels B1 - B2. The pathway consists of 4 lessons at weekly intervals, each lasting 2 hours, and includes lessons on: Academic Reading; Academic Listening; Academic Writing; Academic Speaking; during which techniques are learned for drafting texts through the following activities: use of linguistic competencies (listening, reading, writing, speaking) in an academic and professional context; development of vocabulary by means of targeted reading; writing academic and professional documents; targeted grammar exercises to cover previous shortcomings; study of the more common professional documents in the world of employment.
Badge Criteria
The Bbetween Languages 2017- Academic Skills: Spanish Badge is an activity Badge. It is issued to students and employees of the University, as well as others, who have enrolled and taken an active part in 6 hours of lessons out of the 8 programmed for the pathway (75% of the activities). The pathway is open to everyone, and an English Language: level B1-B2 is required on starting. The pathway is activated with a minimum of 15 enrolments and is divided into several classes to enable the participation of everyone who has enrolled.

The holder of this Badge has demonstrated that he/she possesses and knows how to use the following SKILLS: capacity for oral interaction in the Spanish language; oral comprehension in the Spanish language; oral expression in the Spanish language; drafting texts on an academic level.
