Description
The holder of this Badge has participated in the Bbetween Music 2016-Lover Course getting closer to reflective listening to music and learning to distinguish the essential components of a piece of music. The course, which was held in an authoritative but entertaining manner, consisted of: guided listening to a cycle of concerts held in the University from March to July 2016 (go to the full programme); participation in 3 conference/shows of the “Beethoven, the invention of music project of the Masters Fulvio Luciani and Massimiliano Motterle, which were held from March to July 2016; production of a written project reflecting on the listening experiences undergone.
Badge Criteria
The Bbetween Music2016 -Lover Badge is a participation Badge. It is issued to students of the University and to anyone else who applies to participate. The conditions required for the Badge to be issued are: enrolment for the course; active participation in at least 70% of the programmed activities in the course; positive assessment of a project to be completed at the end of the course. The course is open to anyone, with no limit on the number of participants accepted, and does not require any ability on enrolment.
Skills
The holder of this Badge hasdemonstrated that he or she possesses and knows how to use the following SKILLS: ability of musical listening; contextualizing pieces of music; analysis of the principal components of a composition; and has strengthened the following SOFT SKILLS: analysis: the participants were guided in the analysis of a musical text in order to detect the motifs and essential elements and to identify the connections and divergences between the elements in play in the score; overall vision: the participants are capable of identifying and analysing a historical and historical-musical context in the background in which to place the piece of music, creating where possible a “frame through assessment of the links between the contents of the conferences and the contents of the degree courses they are following and looking for effective solutions in the relevant context; summary: the participants are able to identify the essential aspects of the pieces of music performed and define the priorities in play in the musical text, also in relationship with the resources already at their command and acquired during their degree course, thanks to which they will develop connections providing effective solutions for their written project; flexibility of thought: the participants are able to approach, independently and in a manner that is not completely conditioned, the relevant historical-musical context and re-elaborate it in a wider and more flexible vision, possibly also in tune with the contents of their degree course. The holder of this Badge has also successfully acquired the following items of KNOWLEDGE: historical-musical framing of the romance and contemporary period; analysis of the Beethovenian classical style and related composers (Haydn, Mozart and later); elements of analysis of musical interpretation; general elements of musical theory and analysis.
