Description
The holder of this Badge has taken part as a volunteer in the Bbetween Writing 2016-Bicocca for BookCity course, assisting the organising Committee of the Milan-Bicocca University during the 35 events included in the programme of Bicocca for BookCity Milan 2016 (visit the Bicocca programme of events). BookCity Milano is the annual book fair resulting from an idea of the Milan City Council in conjunction with the BookCity Milano Association for promoting books and reading. Through the Bbetween project, Milano-Bicocca University is part of the venture of Universities of Milan for BookCity Milano 2016, where the various Institutes of Higher Education in Milan are working together, by uniting humanist studies with technical/scientific studies to put forward a shared programme of events with a common topic within BookCity Milano, with the aim of developing critical/scientific thinking and formulating innovative ideas and new models. The chosen topic for the year 2016 is: "(Dis)integration? The University gives its answer The events included in the Bbetween Writing 2016-Bicocca for BookCity course are devoted to books, reading and readers. They are held in the University classrooms or other cultural premises and consist of meetings, readings, exhibitions, shows, workshops and seminars on the latest practices in reading and writing. Badge Criteria
The Bbetween Writing 2016-Volunteer Bicocca for BookCity Badge is an activity Badge. It is awarded to students of the University who have: - shown interest and made themselves available to take part as volunteers in the Bbetween Writing 2016-Bicocca for Bookcity course; - attended a moment of training by a trainer of volunteers for BookCity Milan and by members of the Organising Committee of Bicocca for Bookcity (1 hour); - attended meetings assisting the organisation in logistic aspects and helpdesks for a minimum of 9 hours.
Skills
The holder of this Badge has demonstrated that he or she possesses and knows how to use the following SOFT SKILLS: cooperation and team work; communication; mediation; problem solving. The holder of this Badge has also acquired KNOWLEDGE relating to: logistic aspects concerning the university structure; the rules for the organisation of the event.
