Description
The holder of this Badge is a member of Associazione BicoccAlumni, the Association of ex-students of the University of Milano-Bicocca. BicoccAlumni, which was set up in November 2015 with the aim of building a bridge between the university world and that of employment, proposes to develop, keep alive and strengthen the sense of belonging to this University. BicoccAlumni sees the University as a permanent point of reference and is its leading supporter, making a contribution to spreading the ideals of independence, transparency, freedom of expression, equity, solidarity and enhancement of diversity, attention to merit and to the development of individual abilities, professionalism and attention to quality and social responsibility. By encouraging continuity in the relationship between the University and its ex-students, BicoccAlumni intends to re-unite and gather into a system all the professional capacity that the ex-students of the University have developed or will develop, whether in the University or in their personal working experience. This networking operation aims to reinforce and efficiently communicate the value of the experience in Bicocca through the results achieved and the opportunities created by its ex-students. The Association proposes to set up a network of professionals who will promote encounters and collaboration which can give rise to new opportunities, including on an international level. BicoccAlumni also aims to encourage orientation, both on starting and on leaving the University: a strongly recognisable network of Alumni is, actually, a guarantee of the quality of the University for future undergraduates and at the same time an invaluable basin of employment opportunities for ex-students, who have earned First Degrees, Masters and Research Doctorates. BicoccAlumni is not only trying to give support to development projects of the University of Milano-Bicocca regarding Didactics, Research and Third Missions, but it is also open to entities linked to or associated with the University and aims to lend visibility and prestige to the University on a national and international level.
Badge Criteria
The BicoccAlumni Badge is a Badge of belonging to a community. It is issued to all ex-students of the University of Milano-Bicocca who have subscribed and become members of the Association, seeing that they: have earned a degree title at the University (three-year undergraduate, degree Diploma from old regulations, specialisation/masters degree, specialisation diploma, research doctorate, university masters I or II level); are interested in achieving the institutional aims, while sharing their spirit and ideals; acknowledge the Statuto dell’Associazione. The holder of this Badge, by taking part in Associazione BicoccAlumni, develops, keeps alive and strengthens the sense of belonging to the University of Milano-Bicocca, which he/she considers a permanent point of reference.
