Description
The owner of this Badge has participated to the first edition of the Global Trep Program (October 2015-end of February 2016 in Bologna, Italy), as a "Global Trep Fellow": a young entrepreneur who has shown to be able to manage correctly the tools of Marketing, Design Thinking, Entrepreneurship and Communication in developing innovative business ideas and find solutions for many issues. Global Trep Fellows are five students from South Korea with a diverse background, from tourism management to engineering, having the chance to experience and test the program for the first time. Global Trep is a program that seeks to open up new horizons for ambitious, enthusiast and aspiring entrepreneurs around the world willing to learn how to be successful in a global context and ignite their entrepreneurial spirit while establishing relationships in an integrated ecosystem. Participants are immersed into a cultural experience far beyond mere academic studies, reinforcing teamwork skills on a global level and acquiring practical experience to help build entrepreneurial mindsets and relationships while developing meaningful, innovative and impactful solutions to today’s problems.
Badge Criteria
The owner of this Badge, a student coming from South Korea selected by Korean government, has participated to the firts edition of Global Trep Program (October 2015-end of February 2016 in Bologna, Italy). During the first phase of the Global Trep Program: he/she has attended lectures and workshops carried on with a practical, problem‐based learning model and the concept of “design thinking a human-centered, prototype-driven process for innovation focused on learning-by-doing; as part of the on-the-job training, he/she took part in several events and hackathons, visited the EXPO MILAN 2015 site, attended field trips to companies from different industries of Italian excellence, met experienced entrepreneurs, makers and young start-uppers; he/she attended the Teatrepreneurship Lab, aimed at enhancing communication and cross-cultural thinking skills while experiencing the Italian culture in a brand new innovative way and by using the Italian language and its unique gestures. During the second phase of the Global Trep Program: he/she has presented a detailed report about his/her project to be shown to You Can Group members and to Korean government officials; If the idea presented is well structured and achievable, it will be concretely realized. Partecipating to the Global Trep Program, he/she has shown to have improved the following skills: Entrepreneurship; Marketing; Design Thinking; Communication; Business Etiquette.
