This badge earner understands the architecture and functions of IBM Spectrum Scale and the Elastic Storage Server (ESS).  They are capable of combining it with IBM Spectrum Protect; IBM Spectrum Archive or VMware ESX and differentiate it from competitive offerings. The badge holder is able to identify use cases and plan solutions with IBM Spectrum Scale using various sizing tools.

Badge Criteria

What it takes to earn this badge:

  • Successful participation in either the "IBM Spectrum Scale - Positioning and Solution Design Workshop" or the "IBM Spectrum Scale and DeepFlash - Architects Workshop".
  • Passing the final exam at the end of the course with a grade of 80% higher.
