Description
This Badge gives validity to the competencies acquired by participating in the INTERVIEWING TECHNIQUES LAB course organised by FUTURSKILL- MANPOWER GROUP. The Badge certifies the acquisition of techniques applicable to conducting effectively a selection interview, testing out and improving the manner of conducting a selection interview and participating actively and observing others while conducting an interview. The INTERVIEWING TECHNIQUES LAB course aims to provide support for operators in the world of selection, which is constantly evolving in step with a rapidly changing labour market. To complete the course successfully, an interview must be conducted in a rational, methodical, planned manner, inclusive of correctly setting up the activity, in order to acquire a methodology that minimises the risk of errors.
Badge Criteria
The holder of this Badge has successfully completed the INTERVIEWING TECHNIQUES LAB course. He or she has actively participated in group discussions and role playing organised by the trainer, who has confirmed, by direct observation of the participants, that the proposed methodology has been acquired. There is no provision for passing a final exam, but at several points during the course intermediate checks are made on the achievement of the stated training goals.

The holder of this Badge has demonstrated that he or she possesses and knows how to use the following ABILITIES: ability to conduct selection interviews effectively; ability to identify the barriers impeding objective assessment; acquisition of the methods and stages of organising selection interview sessions; and the following SOFT SKILLS: verbal and non verbal communication; critical, creative and entrepreneurial thinking; personal work planning. The holder of this Badge has also successfully acquired the following areas of KNOWLEDGE: stages of the interview; areas of enquiry; formulating the right questions for testing competencies; candidate motivation; interviewer/interviewee relations; manner of conduction; how to manage the main errors in selection.
