The JTEL-EMMA Ischia Summer School 2015 offers a stimulating learning environment in which participants have the opportunity to explore the theme of technology for education and in particular: develop research capacity; improve their knowledge base; collaborate with other participants in their own and complementary research areas; actively debate on the issue; have the opportunity to get in touch with experts; learn about the different phases of design and implementation of a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course); gain skills and experience during workshops and discuss their work. The programme covers topics from a broad range of domains which contribute to advancing the field of Technology Enhanced Learning. The programme also includes practical and methodological workshops as well as opportunities for doctoral candidates to develop their personal research; to acquire knowledge of the different phases of MOOC design and production, to experience the skills gained during the workshop and discuss their doctoral work.
