This Badge is earned by learners participating in the course "Learning English by audio and video" offered by EduOpen. The Badge is by all means the course’s certificate of attendance.
Badge Criteria
This Badge has been obtained by taking part in Learning English by audio and video, within the MOOC Learning to learn English (Orientenglish) that aims to provide useful insights for learn the English language more effectively and to refine the useful techniques for the study of a foreign language. The path collects opinions and experiences from experts working throughout Italy. This course is intended for University of Parma (or other Universities) first year undergraduates, as well as for Italian High School students who intend to enrol at the University. The course is also open to all other University graduates who wish to deepen their knowledge in English language and develop language learning strategies. Teachers: Alessandra Giglio, Sara Valla. During the sections of Orientenglish - Learning English by audio and video there have been reflections and practice on the use of audio and video to learn English. The Badge was obtained after taking part and having fulfilled the following conditions: having worked as interim activities identified as required for each section that makes up the course; having played the final compulsory test corresponding to each section.

The owner of this Badge participated in and successfully completed the course Orientenglish - Learning English by audio and video demonstrating acquisition of the following SKILLS: listing and recognizing audio and video resources for learning the English language; using some useful resources to develop all the four basic language skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing); learning about ideas and examples on how to creatively use some resources for learning the English language; acquiring some mechanisms that allow one's to find useful resources for learning the English language even on their own.
