Description

The badge earner has good knowledge on Mainframe operating systems such as zOS & Linux on IBM Systems.  The individual has demonstrated their expertise to develop applications on Mainframe using COBOL and JCL. The badge earner also has skills on Mainframe DBMS and Mainframe Transaction management systems (CICS).

Badge Criteria

What it takes to earn this badge:

  • Must be a student who has enrolled in an IBM Innovation Centre for Education Program.
  • At least 60% attendance in the physical classroom sessions f all the IBM courses/subjects.
  • The number of IBM subjects completed should be a minimum of 4 but less than 7.
  • Should complete a minimum of 150 hours of Classroom sessions.
  • 60% grade achieved in the end-of-course exam conducted by IBM Authized Partner.
  • 60% grade in Project wk in aggregate from average of Project guide (60% weightage) and industry Project Ment (40% weightage).
  • All the above criteria to be verified by IBM.
