Description
The holder of this Badge has attended the Management and Supply Course held by the School of Italian Cuisine. Completion of the Management and Supply Course allows the student to acquire skills, competencies and knowledge of supply programming activities, management of purchasing and management of stocks and spaces, seasonal nature of products. The teaching programme is held in 2 lessons lasting 3 hours each.
Badge Criteria
To obtain this Badge, attendance is required of the Management and Supply Course organised by the School of Italian Cuisine. The courses are held more than once in the same year (4 sessions each in four-monthly periods). The holder of this Badge has demonstrated that he or she possesses and knows how to use the following SKILLS: identify the features of supply markets; operate in product markets to find economically beneficial solutions; assess the quality of products purchased; and the following SOFT SKILLS: plan work processes, taking account of available resources; ability to identify the best solutions to solve a problem. The holder of this Badge has also successfully acquired KNOWLEDGE relating to: the various supply markets; the use of individual products; the seasonal nature of products; methods and periods for shelf-life of foods; hygiene/health standards regarding shelf-life of foods.
