The badge earner has a basic understanding of the FOSS (Free and open-source software) and can develop; test and deploy Open source applications using PHP and XML on a Linux platform.

Badge Criteria

What it takes to earn this badge:

  • Must be a student who has enrolled in an IBM Innovation Centre for Education Program.
  • At least 60% attendance in Web Lectures -- live recded in the subjects.
  • The number of IBM specialization subjects completed should be a minimum of 2 but less than 4.
  • Should complete a minimum of 100 hours of Classroom sessions.
  • 60% grade achieved in the end-of-course exam conducted by IBM its Authized Partner.
  • At least 60% grades in Project wk in aggregate from average of Project Guide (60% weightage) and Industry Project Ment (40% weightage).
