Description

The badge earner has an overall understanding of FOSS (Free and open-source software) and can administer; develop; test; release and license an Open source application.  The individual has very good skills such as PHP; HTML5; CSS;  and jQuery.  The individual can also develop and install Android applications.

Badge Criteria

What it takes to earn this badge:

  • Must be a student who has enrolled in an IBM Innovation Centre for Education Program.
  • At least 60% attendance in the physical classroom sessions f all the IBM courses/subjects.
  • The number of IBM subjects completed should be a minimum of 4 but less than 7.
  • Should complete a minimum of 150 hours of Classroom sessions.
  • 60% grade achieved in the end-of-course exam conducted by IBM Authized Partner.
  • 60% grade in Project wk in aggregate from average of Project guide (60% weightage) and industry Project Ment (40% weightage).
  • All the above criteria to be verified by IBM.
