Description
This Badge is issued to Representatives for information and services (RIF) for the Federal Portal of the University of Turin, who are responsible for the management of co-working websites set up on the Alfresco platform in connection with the University’s "Unito Share" service. The "Unito Share" service is one of the strategic tools usable for co-working and sharing of work documents for the University staff. The RIF are the reference figures for organisation of the contents and management of privileges for websites co-working with the organisational units concerned. This Badge gives validity to the individual competencies of the Documentation Platform RIF.
Badge Criteria
This Badge is issued to employees of the University of Turin who have been officially appointed as Representatives for information and services (RIF) for the Federal Portal for the Documentation Platform service and have participated in the training course. The Badge certifies successful completion of the course and passing of the final examination, which consists of an online test and an interview: it demonstrates knowledge of reference documentation and ability to ensure proper fulfilment of the role.
Skills
The holder of this Badge has already acquired the "Representatives for information and services-Federal Portal" Badge and therefore possesses the valid competencies. The holder of this Badge also carries out the following activities: participating in training activities for use of the platform, in the role of administrator; being available for participation in periodic meetings for feedback on the use of the platform; supervising and administering the documentation folder restricted to the organisational unit concerned; dealing with setup of authorisations for access to the folder and its enclosed areas for members and groups of his or her own organisational unit; maintaining relations with the backup group for doubts or issues relating to use of the platform; fostering knowledge of solutions and services that are already available within his or her own Organisational Unit.
