Description
This Badge is issued to Representatives for information and services (RIF) for the Federal Portal of the University of Turin, who are responsible for management of the e-learning environments of the University on the Moodle platform and coordination of e-learning initiatives generated internally. Programmes for e-learning area tool that is available to the structures involved in teaching, for setting up training activities in e-learning mode, understood as a support tool for traditional teaching. The RIF are the reference figures for the management and coordination of e-learning activities and the point of reference for use of the system by teachers and students, as well as working to promote the service. This Badge gives validity to the individual competencies of the E-learning RIF.
Badge Criteria
This Badge is issued to employees of the University of Turin who have been officially appointed as Representatives for information and services (RIF) for the Federal Portal for the E-learning service and have participated in the training course. The Badge certifies successful completion of the course and passing of the final examination, which consists of an online test and an interview: it demonstrates knowledge of reference documentation and ability to ensure proper fulfilment of the role.
Skills
The holder of this Badge has already acquired the "Representatives for information and services –Federal Portal" Badge and therefore possesses the valid competencies. The holder of this Badge also carries out the following activities: dealing with the general setup of the programme,assignment of roles and, on the basis of agreements with the teachers, loading or helping to load teaching materials; participating in training activities for use of the platform, in the role of administrator; being available for participation in periodic meetings for feedback on the use of the platform; supervising and administering the system for management of website content; maintaining relations with the backup group for doubts or issues relating to use of the platform; fostering knowledge of solutions and services that are already available within his or her own Organisational Unit.
