Description
This Badge is issued to Representatives for information and services (RIF) for the Federal Portal of the University of Turin, who are responsible for the creation and/or management of one or more social networks. The social networks make it possible to reach a greater number of people who are potentially interested in what the University has to offer, stimulate a constant flow of communication and allow feedback and comments from the people who use the services of the University of Turin, whilst also taking into account the significant number of target students active on such platforms. The Social Networks RIF are the reference figures for coordinating information flows operating on the social networks and for dealing with user feedback coming in through these instruments. This Badge gives validity to the individual competencies of the Social Networks RIF.
Badge Criteria
This Badge is issued to employees of the University of Turin who have been officially appointed as Representatives for information and services (RIF) for the Federal Portal for the Social Networks service and have participated in the training course. The Badge certifies successful completion of the course and passing of the final examination, which consists of an online test and an interview: it demonstrates knowledge of reference documentation and ability to ensure proper fulfilment of the role.
Skills
The holder of this Badge has already acquired the "Representatives for information and services-Federal Portal " Badge and therefore possesses the valid competencies. The holder of this Badge also carries out the following activities: attending periodic meetings for feedback on use of the platform and handling relations with the University 's Web Editorial Board; keeping up to date on the evolution of Social Network tools, especially regarding their use by public administration bodies; acting as spokesperson in his or her own structure for ideas and potential projects for the Social Networks where the University is active; constantly monitoring updates and changes to conditions of use and functional features of social media platforms being used; keeping up to date on the contents of the UniTo People - Community and Social Network section of the University Portal and of the Social Network section on the Intranet.
