Description
This Badge is issued to Representatives for information and services (RIF) for the Federal Portal of the University of Turin, who are responsible the Unito Media service. The Unito Media web tv is the institutional platform for multimedia content in the University. Unito Media was set up with various aims: making broadcasts of the sittings of the central organs productive; documenting events of an institutional nature; extending sharing and exploitation of multimedia content regarding teaching and research; improving multimedia content already in use in the University; providing users inside the University (students, teaching staff and technical/administrative staff) as well as those outside (organisations and businesses), with a virtual place where they may consult content regarding conferences, congresses,special lectures, etc. The Unito Media RIF acts as spokesperson for his or her own structure involved in ideas and proposals put forward by the Unito Media platform, to help promote the activities offered by the service, and also acts as a go-between for event organisers (within his or her own structure) and the Management of IT Systems and University Portal, who are responsible for arranging multimedia events. This Badge gives validity to the individual competencies of the Unito Media RIF.
Badge Criteria
This Badge is issued to employees of the University of Turin who have been officially appointed as Representatives for information and services (RIF) for the Federal Portal for the Unito Media service and have participated in the training course. The Badge certifies successful completion of the course and passing of the final examination, which consists of an online test and an interview: it demonstrates knowledge of reference documentation and ability to ensure proper fulfilment of the role.

The holder of this Badge has already acquired the "Representatives for information and services-Federal Portal " Badge and therefore possesses the valid competencies. The holder of this Badge also carries out the following activities: carrying out an active role in gathering ideas and suggestions and in formulating proposals, encouraging coherence in content; maintaining relations with the Web Editorial Board; proposing, with the prior agreement of Directors, etc. events to broadcast in streaming or radio analysis of particular importance, which are worth sharing with the academic community, as well as storing on the multimedia content platform; acting as spokesperson in his or her own structure for ideas and potential projects of Unito Media and the social networks where the University is active, in order to incentivise participation and improve awareness of activities carried out by the service; keeping up to date regarding the service known as Unito Media and periodically referring to what is published on www. unito.it/media, as well as the specific sections of the Info Portal (on the University Intranet); fostering knowledge of solutions and services that are already available within his or her own Organisational Unit; being available for participation in periodic meetings for feedback on the use of the platform.
