Description
This Badge is issued to Representatives for information and services (RIF) for the Federal Portal of the University of Turin, who are responsible for ensuring, within their own Organisational Unit, application of the guidelines regarding Work Stations and Licences. The Work Stations and Licences RIF have the information at their disposal regarding the technological equipment in their own OU (pc’s, tablets, smartphones, laptops, printers etc) and they directly or indirectly take care of updating the Active Directory systems. In connection with the management of the University licences, they are the only figures authorised to make requests for software; they deal with accounting for installations carried out, distributing software in compliance with relevant regulations and are responsible for proper management of licences assigned. This Badge gives validity to the individual competencies of the Work Stations and Licences RIF.
Badge Criteria
This Badge is issued to employees of the University of Turin who have been officially appointed as Representatives for information and services (RIF) for the FederalPortal for the Work Stations and Licences service and have participated in the training course. The Badge certifies successful completion of the course and passing of the final examination, which consists of an online test and an interview: it demonstrates knowledge of reference documentation and ability to ensure proper fulfilment of the role.

The holder of this Badge has already acquired the "Representatives for information and services-FederalPortal " Badge and therefore possesses the valid competencies. The holder of this Badge also carries out the following activities: ensuring application of the guidelines regarding work stations and licences; having the information at their disposal regarding the technological equipment in their own Organisational Unit (pc’s, tablets, smartphones, laptops, printers etc) and directly or indirectly taking care of updating them; in connection with the management of the University licences, being the only figures authorised to make requests for software; taking care of accounting for installations carried out and of distributing software in compliance with relevant regulations and being responsible for proper management of licences assigned; fostering knowledge of solutions and services that are already available within his or her own Organisational Unit.
