Description

This Badge gives validity to the competencies acquired by participating in the SOFT SKILLS INTERVIEW LAB  course organised by FUTURSKILL- MANPOWER GROUP. The Badge certifies the acquisition of techniques applicable to conducting effectively a selection interview, paying special attention to the ability to highlight the candidate’s soft skills. Based on the assumption that soft skills are decisive for working performance directed towards enhancing company resources and results, the SOFT SKILLS INTERVIEW LAB course aims at illustrating a methodology that can be used for a structured analysis of soft skills in the selection process.  The course also develops the technique of a structured interview based on competencies and the STAR Technique, for more effective and objective assessment of competencies.

Badge Criteria

The holder of this Badge has successfully completed the SOFT SKILLS INTERVIEW LAB course, both by actively participating in group discussions and role playing organised by the trainer and by directly observing the participants, to confirm acquisition of the stated methodology. There is no provision for passing a final exam, but at several points during the course intermediate checks are made on the achievement of the stated training goals. A highly interactive approach ensures that all course participants test out the use of the STAR technique and behavioural interview in managing a selection interview.

Skills

The holder of this Badge has demonstrated that he or she possesses and knows how to use the following ABILITIES: understanding of a candidate’s soft skills; knowledge of the STAR Technique; ability to manage a behavioural interview; and the following SOFT SKILLS: verbal and non verbal communication; critical, creative and entrepreneurial thinking; personal work planning. The holder of this Badge has also successfully acquired the following areas of KNOWLEDGE: the model of competencies and the selection process; selection by means of competencies and behaviour; management of the key stages of an interview; notions of interview techniques; interview techniques based on behavioural methodology; the Target Interview and the STAR Technique; the final assessment.
