The Selling Profession Specialty Badge verifies the seller's successful application of skills and expertise in their solution specialty area.  At Level III (Thought Leader) the badge earner has comprehensive; in-depth knowledge of the subject and extensive successful applications of the skill; and will regularly use their expertise to influence senior executives; teach others; is recognized as a  Subject Matter Expert within IBM; and outside IBM; in the subject area.

Badge Criteria

What it takes to earn this badge:

  • This badge is only available to IBM employees.
  • Selling Profession Certification - Level III (Thought Leader).
  • Document a successful client engagement in which the badge earner has participated - providing descriptions of the client business opptunity the client solution and the results/outcome with special emphasis on their role in the sales process.
  • The badge application must be approved by the Subject Matter Expert who conducted the review.
  • The additional infmation link below is only accessible by IBM employees.
