The badge holder has demonstrated the ability to design; develop and demonstrate a solution leveraging Apache Spark. They can create an application from a data set for a particular use case. They are able to use notebook environments such as Data Science Workbench (DSWB); Zeppelin or Spark as a Service on Bluemix to derive analytics using Apache Spark. (This badge is only available for IBM employees.)

What it takes to earn this badge:
- This is a by-invitation-only event for IBM employees and requires successful completion of all the Spark workshop requirements exercises and labs as follows:
- Attendance in the 4-day Spark bootcamp (live virtual).
- Creation of three Spark solutions.
