My professional career has been in language education. I speak French and Spanish and have taught and managed language education in Secondary and Higher Education for 30 years. My B.A in French was from Oxford Brookes in the 80s, I have also completed a PGCE and M.A. (post compulsory education) at Warwick University. I am also mum to two young men who make me very proud, certainly my greatest achievement. I was an early adopter of technology for learning and qualified as a learning technologist under the CMALT scheme. I'm an open education advocate and enjoy learning across national borders through online intercultural exchange (OIE). I have researched and published in this field.
