Description
The Owner of this Badge has participated as a volunteer in the 8thedition of the robot Festival, Bologna 7-10 October 2015. Volunteers were selected as part of the Electro Militia project, through a Public Call by the roBOT Festival, with the aim of creating a staff composed of students and young people who are passionate about electronic music, digital arts and cinema; creative people who are willing and able to give their contribution and in return obtain excellent and certifiable field experience. This year 180 people between the ages of 18 and 30 were, for 4 days, active volunteers at the roBOT Festival. With their enthusiasm and application, the volunteers worked side by side with experts involved in the intense activity that lies behind-the-scenes of a big event with international involvement. The selected volunteers operated in a range of areas: Desk information / Public welcome; Responsible for performance rooms / Project supervisor; Logistics and event preparation; Press; Graphic design used in Festival imagery; Distribution of informational and advertising material.
Badge Criteria
The Owner of this Badge was selected through the Public Call by ElectroMilitia and participated as a volunteer at robot Festival 2015 towards the successful running of the event. The Owner of this Badge has demonstrated to their Tutor that they have the capacity to get involved and learn skills, observing and experimenting in a range of activities in a contained environment, guided by a team of professionals. In particular he/she has demonstrated: Ability to communicate and interact with the public; Knowledge of robot Festival 2015 and preceding editions; Organisational skills; Teamwork skills.
