Description

The holder of this Badge has attended the "Web Security course, organised by Enforcer for internal training in the Product Development Department of CINECA. This course, which is intended for web developers, illustrates the main issues of security associated with designing, developing and putting into operation web based applications: it uses a technical/practical approach, with the aim of communicating both theoretical competencies, with a brief classroom introduction, and knowledge of the methodologies for identifying and avoiding them (techniques, software, examples of codes), with practical activities and exercises. The course is made up of eight half days of lessons, with a maximum of 15 students, web developers, in each class.

Badge Criteria

The holder of this Badge must have attended the “Web Security course, made up of eight half days of lessons, with a maximum of 15 students per class. The course, since it is of a purely technical nature and includes testing in the field, is intended for web developers. Participants on the course are required to possess the following preliminary prerequisites: knowledge of the basics of IT security; knowledge of the basics of networking and TCP/IP; knowledge of the HTTP protocol and operation of web applications.

Skills

This Badge certifies that the students on the "Web Security course have acquired knowledge/abilities regarding the following topics: the principal vulnerability according to the standards defined by the consortium of the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP); the principal techniques of Cross Site Scripting; the issues of Injection Flaws and validation of the parameters; the issues of security on the Authentication front.
